Looking for something to do this Saturday night? If so, why not join
OLD SCHOOL at
Kelsey's Pub in Ellicott City?
We haven't been there in a while and won't be back till January, so forget about all the financial
problems the country is in and join me, Pat and Dan for a few frosty beverages! And, there will be a
birthday girl in the house, so you know that's gonna get out of hand...

This year has absolutely flown by. Can you believe it's October? Just 2 months til Christmas?! It seems ridiculous. I mean,
wasn't it just yesterday that I spent way more money on gifts than I should have? I'm still paying off that debt, and now
I get to tack on a little more. But all in all, it's been a great year so far. Mike and I really appreciate all your support. The Solution
has taken big strides this year- expanding our playlist, performing our originals, teaming up with other local artists and playing bigger
and better venues. What better way to cap it off than with a New Year's Eve party? Well... it's been finalized: Make your plans to join me, Mike and Dan
as OLD SCHOOL heads up a New Year's Eve bash at Reckless Ric's in Glen Burnie. I have a feeling that we'll be in rare form,
so we'd be more than willing to accept a ride home from anyone who may oblige.

As some of you have noticed, we've been a little behind updating the web site. I've had some serious
computer problems lately!
Damn MySpace
I'm pretty sure I'm caught up on the
pictures and there are several new
quotes that are pretty funny.

Another crazy St. Patty's Day Weekend has passed. For those of you who made it
out to one of our shows, thanks, I'm sure we had fun...much of the weekend is
still a blur! For those of you who didn't make it out this weekend, not only
did you miss out on a great time, but YOU SUCK!!!
Seriously though, if you didn't make it out this weekend make sure you check out the
pictures page. Saturday afternoon Pat and I
played on the roof of Canton Station!
Then on Saturday night, OLD SCHOOL played Reckless Ric's.
Then on Sunday afternoon/evening OLD SCHOOL was joined by Joey Pazz at Canton Station.
This show got a little out of hand. Then, Patio played at Leadbetters. I wasn't there, but I'm sure it
was a hoot! Finally, on Monday Pat and I played at MacGregor's in Havre de Grace. I'm still too
hung over to post the pictures, so check back later...maybe they'll be up by this weekend.....

OK, so we're all a little bumbed about the way the Raven's season has gone right? Well,
it seems that we're not the only ones in Baltimore who are pissed about it. Here is a
report that was on the news last night:
Police reported that an individual attempted to 'egg' Brian Billick's
house last night. The report stated: An empty egg carton was recovered
at the scene. Three eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor's back
door, four eggs hit the houses of each of his next-door neighbors, and the
remaining eggs were found broken on the ground near the carton from where
the individual threw them. Strangely, Bilick's house wasn't actually hit
by any of the eggs. Police officials say they are considering Steve
McNair or Kyle Boller as the primary suspects.

Patio and I would like to thank everyone who came out to our 7 Year Anniversary Show
last night at Ric's. We hope you enjoyed the slide show and the cheesey prizes.
As always we drank a lot of beer, did a lot of shots as well as many, many,
many Jager Bombs! Normally you could click the
pictures page to see some of the
highlights from the evenings festivities, but I'll be honest, I've got a freakin' hangover! I'm
getting myself a Gatorade and going back to bed!!! Check back on Monday. They should be up then. And
besides, isn't it more fun checking our site out when you're at work?

As many of you were quick to point out, our
Pictures page
was down for a few weeks. Thanks for getting on our asses so quickly! We truly
appreciate it. Everything is back to normal now, but as I was going
through some of the different pages I noticed that we haven't had any
Boggle
or Yahtzee
pics since March!!! What's wrong with the world
today? Are there no adventurous young ladies out there willing to
flash a band only for the 15 minutes of fame they may receive? Why
do you think Patrick and I spent all of those years practicing and
learning new songs and working on our stage show...OK...who am I kidding?
We don't practice! But seriously...we need more chicks to show us their
tits, tramp stamps and anything else that will keep Uncle Jake happy
out there in Texas.

I'm sure by now you've noticed that I grabbed a new digital camera. So, you can finally get your
share of ridiculous
pictures of us. So, click the

It's been a while since we posted any new
pictures. But that's because
I broke another camera and Pat can never remember to bring his.
Well, OLD SCHOOL played at Dock of the Bay Saturday night and it was PARTY TIME! We went over the
$75 bar tab we were allowed sometime during the first set. So, the sets became shorter, the
breaks became longer,
and we did our best to spend all the money we were going to make on liquor!!! But we said
F _ _ K IT! We had a good time just the same. And, the after party at Mike's didn't stop until
shortly before 6:00am!!! Sorry, those pics have been deleted. Right Ang?
Monday, 4-2-07 (posted by Mike):
We've got a new DJ! MC Kyle E's baby girl was born at 3:47am. Dianna Jeanette is
7lbs 14.4oz and is 20 inches long...or tall. She and mom
are doing well but dad is exhausted. It's hard work trying to sleep on that little
couch they have at GBMC! We've only got a couple of
pictures so far,
because the new papa left his camera at the hospital. Congratulations to Kyle
and Caroline Easton. That is one BEAUTIFUL little DJ!!!
Sunday, 4-1-07 (posted by Mike):
At this point, I'm sure you figured out that we were never going
to be playing at The Dresden tonight. Marty and Elayne have off on Sundays,
we were never going to fly to Hollywood, California for a "one night
only" show and even if we were, how the hell would we have gotten my
drums out there?!?!?!? Anyway, I hope you have a happy April Fool's Day. I guess
nothing will top last year's Kenny Chesney show!!! We don't have any new
pictures to post
from the weekend, so you're just going to have to do real work today. SORRY!!!
Monday, 3-26-07 (posted by Mike):
OLD SCHOOL had a pretty busy weekend. We played two new rooms and got
re-booked at both venues. Thanks to Melanie and Rob who made the long drive to
both shows. Check out the

sitting there at work.

I think this is the first year we didn't play on St. Patty's Day. So, with
that being said, I guess NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS! At least none of us
got locked up right?
We've got a busy week coming up. Here's our schedule:
Wednesday - Red Star in Fells at 9:30
Thursday - Kelsey's in Ellicott City at 10:00
Friday - Damon's Grill in Hunt Valley at 9:00 (OLD SCHOOL Show)
Saturday - MacGregor's in Havre de Grace at 9:00 (OLD SCHOOL Show)
We hope to see you out this weekend...since we didn't see you last week!
Saturday, 3-3-07 (posted by Mike):
Damn...things got out of hand quickly last night! Just for the record, 5 shots
during the first set is not a good idea. It was fun, but not a good idea. I woke
up this morning and felt like someone hit me in the head with a bat!
Anyway, it was nice to see our friends who live somewhere off of Rt. 108, those
sexy ladies that we know absolutely nothing about other than the fact they have
tattoos on their backs, Rob & Dirty D, Melanie, Brian, Mike and that hot little
woman he's with! I'm sure Rob took some pictures. So, I'll get them up by Monday.
You should never look at our site on your own time...wait until you get to work!
See ya next month...or...come on down to the Waterfront tonight and we'll do it
all over again!!!

Once again, Happy Birthday Ali with an I.

I can click "Reply" like the good ole' days of e-mailing. Bottom line...F--k

Pat, Dan and I would like to let everyone know that we've landed
a weekly show at the Red Fish in Canton. We'll be there every Monday
night, so, since there's no more football, you'll have no excuse not to make it.
Check out the
Schedule Page for start times.
We hope to see ya there! Oh yeah, parking sucks so get there a little early.

Pat and I want to remind everyone that NEXT FRIDAY is our 6th Year Anniversary
Party at Reckless Ric's. We'll have give-aways, prizes for the best Yahtzee Shot taken,
as well as a surprise for all of our loyal fans, which we think is pretty cool
and has taken me over a week to put together!!! So, we hope everyone who has ever taken
the time to come out and see us, and remembered to check the web site the next day will
join us NEXT FRIDAY at Reckless Ric's in Glen Burnie from 9:00 'til 1:00. But
then again it will probably take me over an hour to pack my shit up like it did last
week at Brannan's...very funny Mel!!!
Sunday, 11-26-06 (posted by Mike):
Pat, Dan and I would like to thank everyone who came out to Brannan's Pub last night.
Let's see if I can remember everyone...Bob & Ashley, Jessica & Laura, Mandy, Caroline & little
baby Easton, DJ Double A & Jessica, Jeff & Cherri, who just turned 21!!!, Theresa & her mom,
Rob & Melanie and Melissa for picking my drunken ass up at 2:00am. Anyway, we had a great
time, got real drunk and took a shit load of pictures!
With that being said, you're going to need to bear with me...I've got over 255 pictures
to go through...and that's before Rob, Ashley and Jessica e-mail me theirs!!! Well, thanks again
everybody...see ya next week at the Waterfront.

I know what you're thinking. Here we go again. Big waves in Ocean
City...blah blah blah... Well, you're right...sort of...this time it
wasn't Ocean City, well it was, but we went to Indian River instead!
Do you know what a barrel is? Probably not. It is when the wave breaks and makes
a tube. When you're really good, and the barrel is really big, you can get inside
of this thing. I'm almost that good, and the waves were certainly big enough.
Check out the
pictures page for some snap shots. None
of which are actually of me...you see...I was in the water trying to get barreled!!!
Wednesday, 10-25-06 (posted by Mike sometime in the evening):
Why is it that all we ever talk about is a hangover?
Well, you guessed it...we've got another one!!! But mostly, Pat and I
would like to thank Ashley and Bob, Hawk and his wife, Joslynn
and the rest of the Brannan's gang for hanging out and partying with us last night. Check out the
pictures page for some snap shots. We hope to
see you there next month!!!
Isn't a Wednesday morning hangover just the coolest?
Wednesday, 10-4-06 (posted by Mike):
WOW!!! Talk about a hangover. Sunday was my baby sister's 21st birthday. She
wanted everyone to go out on Saturday night around 12:00 so she could use her
real ID and get served like an adult. However, her husband started DJing
for us and wound up working at JB's. So, everyone decided to go out on Sunday
and watch the Raven's play.
She wanted to go somewhere with a lot of bars close together so we could hop
from one to the other. Obviously, the first place I could think of was Fells
Point. So, everyone met at the Green Turtle for a bite to eat, a couple of
drinks and to watch the Ravens. We hung out there until the end of the first half,
but then it was on to Max's, Leadbetters, the Admiral's Cup, Slainte, Koopers, the
Waterfront, ROTO's, Christiana's, Skinz and then finishing up at Dreamers! From
what I can remember, we had a good time. Check out the
pictures page for some snap shots. You should
notice a bit of a pattern:
Ashley behind the bar (getting carded)
Group Shot
Someone with a shot in their hand and their tongue hanging out
Perhaps a ROCK ON sign
A couple of beers...and then on to the next bar!!!

The 13th Annual Testosterone Weekend has come and gone. I can't say that I remember
very much of it. After looking at the pictures page some stuff
started to come back to me. Things like going surfing. I can't say that I remembered that. I can't
remember Jake taking advantage of a poor helpless little sikka deer, but we've got pictures. Anyway,
take a look at the
pictures page for some snap shots from this year's adventure.
Next year will be even better! It always is!!!

As most of you probably know by now, I've been a surfer since I was a little
kid. Unfortuneately for me though, I grew up on the East Coast and the Atlantic
doesn't produce large surf all that often. So when the storms roll through, I've
got to hit the road...or the beach!!! So, when Ernesto came to town and I had
shows all weekend long, I was going insane. However, Ern stalled just long enough
for Jing-a-Ling and I to make a quick run "down na Ocean Hon!" Take a look at the
pictures page for some snap shots from the beach.
There aren't many. We were in the water from sun up to sun down!
Saturday, 9-02-06 (posted by Mike):
Well, we made it through Ernesto without too much trouble. The Bench wasn't totally mobbed,
but we had a great time anyway. The beer was cold, the shots were plentiful, and despite getting
popped in the lip by a broken stick in the first set and the power blinking a few times, everything
went off without a hitch! So make sure you check out the
pictures page for some snap shots of last night's show.

Monday afternoon, 08-07-06 (posted by Mike):
I'm sure by now some of you have been on the Schedule Page
and noticed that we'll be partaking in the 13th Annual Testosterone Camping/Fishing/Surfing Trip.
Well, for those of you who don't know what that is, and are too afraid to ask, I'll tell you.
It all started a few years after we got out of high school. MC Kyle E and I started bass fishing
together more and more. So one day in the early fall, I mentioned that we should go to the beach
and go fishing. So, we went to Indian River and drank lots of beer, fished, surfed and had a great
time! Over the years more and more people started going and now we're up to the 13th annual trip!
Last year Uncle Earl shows up with a pop-up camper and we thought we were kings!!! When it rained,
we went inside and didn't get wet. This was amazing. We didn't wake up on the ground because our
air mattresses ran out of air. We didn't wake up in a puddle because we got drunk and forgot to close
the air flap on top of the tent. It was a whole new level of camping!!! I made a vow to have my
own camper this year so the newer members of our entourage would have a place to sleep.
So, I recently went out in search of a camper for this year's trip. I wound up purchasing a
nice cozy little 27 foot Travel Trailer! Obviously DJ Mini-Miss helped pick this thing out.
I was content with the little pop-up.
I picked it up last Thursday and decided to hit the road and try it out. Check out the
pictures page for some snap shots of the Griswold's Family Camping
Trip.
Saturday, 7-29-06 (posted by Mike at 3:45am):
It was another kick ass night at MacGregor's! I could go on and on about how many beers we drank,
how many shots we did, how many hot chicks there were, how much fun we had, how many times we
had titties flashed at us etc. But, I'm not going to do that. If you were there, you already know.
If you missed it...you should have been there. In fact, when you click on the
pictures page, there won't even be any captions. Use your
imagination, fill in the blanks, do whatever you have to do to try to understand what kind of night
we had!

(After waking up with a MONSTER hangover and having to change a poopie diaper)
Have you ever had one of those days at the office where everything went your way?
You know, you didn't have to wait in line to use the copier...the boss bought everybody
subs for lunch...that hot chick (or dude...for the ladies) that works in the cubical
next to you winked at you on
the way to the water cooler...well, if you were at Kelsey's last night I sincerely doubt
you're going to have one of those days!!! And, you know who you are...The A Crew,
The P Crew, The T Crew and of course our boy Mike..."not Kenny."
That's DJ Double A and his lovely young lady,
The Provident Crew and The Tomato Crew who sat quietly in the back and gave us the ROCK ON
sign all night long!
I'm rambling again...just check out the photos.
And like always...do it on company time!!!
Frirday, 7-19-06 (posted by Mike):
WOW!!! Beryl was awesome!!!
You know it's kinda funny, whenever I talk to people and tell them that I surf
I always get the same reaction...
Them: "You surf?"
Me: "Yeah."
Them - with a slight humor and/or chuckle: "Really...where...Ocean City?"
Me: "Yeah."
Them - again with a slight humor and/or chuckle: "It doesn't get very big does it?"
Me: "Yeah...if you watch the storms and hit the right tides."
Them - still with a slight humor and/or chuckle: "Rrrrrright..."
Well all I can tell you is...when you wait for the right storm, the right tides,
have the right board, hit the right beach and have total disregard for your own
safety, things can be oh so sweet! Beryl was phenomenal, and Jing-a-ling, Mikey
and I had a blast surfing the “little waves” yesterday at Ocean City and Indian River.
Check out some of the photos I took after I got out of the water.
You can also check out

look at the mid-summer gift from good ole King Neptune.

I must say...Patrick and I realy love to play Ric's. It's the one place where we
really feel like Rock Stars! I was loading in and Corey's crew was already there...
busting my balls about being late, it was 7:55 when I got there. One dude asked me
where the hell we've been and how come they have to wait a month before we're back.
That's just cool. It's also the one place where I really get to bang the hell out
of the congas...kinda like the old Leadbetter days. Anyway, the
Pictures Page
has a lot of snap shots from last night's show...most of which are of Pat and I.
Again...thanks...we feel like Rock Stars!!!

Patio and I would like to give a shout out to Doc, Tina T and the gang,
the two chicks that bought us Jager-Bombs, the crew that hung out for our first
set-left-but came back for the third and then bought us a shot of Jim Beam,
and last but certainly not least...that
Amanda chick who tried to run out without paying her tab!!! Check out the
Pictures Page
for some snap shots from last night's show...I think that Amanda chick took a
couple of photos....

Well...JB's was a lot of fun! Patio was losing his voice, but we made the best of it and
I don't think anyone but Nikki could tell. It was a packed house, and we're looking forward to
our next show there on the 29th. There were a couple of Playboy Playmates there which made for
an interesting evening. I'd like to tell you to check out the
Pictures Page
for some snap shots from last night's show, but I didn't take the camera. Ain't that a bitch! I
guess you'll have to come out the next time we're there and enjoy things for yourself!!!
Oh yeah...I'm not lying about the playmates...their pictures are hanging on the wall...they're
regulars!!! I just thought you'd like to know that.......
Friday, 6-23-06 (posted by Mike):
As always, Kelsey's was a lot of fun. There was a piss-pour excuse for a ball game,
a few shots, a dance contest, a few mnore shots,
several different Tambourine...ists, a few more shots, some sunflowers, a few more
shots, well, I think you get the idea. Oh...and there was even some music
being played! But you probably figured that one out on your own.
Anyway...check out the
Pictures Page
for some snap shots from last night's show. And, more importantly, check out the
Yahtzee Pics. Oh...you don't know where they are...what a pitty!

What can I say about last night's show? The Malibu chicks were smokin' and Uncle Jake got
us drunk on Jager Bombs...or as he likes to call them...Jakester Bombs! As always, Bel Air was
fun, the drinks were cold, the chicks were hot and the drive home sucked!!!
Anyway...check out the
Pictures Page
for some snap shots from last night's show.
Thanks for getting us $hi+ faced Uncle Jake!
Friday, 6-16-06 (posted by Mike):
Pat and I would like to say thanks to Jim & Missy, Jason and Lewis, our good friends
from the Bench, Tina Tomato and anyone else we were too drunk to remember,
for coming out on Thursday night.
As always, we had a great time at Kelsey's...but for some reason, I think we had
more fun after the show...
Check out the

Thanks for keeping things straight Uncle Jake!

As most of you know, I coach my son's lacrosse team from March 1st until the
second weekend in June. Some of you may recall me bitching at some of our shows
about how bad some of the kids sucked...they couldn't catch...they couldn't
throw...they couldn't pick up a ground ball (that's a ball that is on the
ground, for those of you who don't know lacrosse)...and they pretty much
had no idea what the object of the game was! Well, with a little help from good
ole Coach Mike, that's me, my boys played a perfect season (10-0) and then
went on to win the 2006 Lax Max Tournament,
scoring 34 goals and allowing only 4! I know what you're thinking...what does this
have to do with The SOLUTION...I'll tell you...abosolutely nothing!!! But you
might want to come out to a couple of our shows this week...because you can bet
your ass I'm going to be celebrating. You know how Patrick and I celebrate our
birthdays for close to 2 weeks...DITTO!!!
Oh...if you are remotely interested in seeing some snapshots and reading a couple
of the Game Summaries, check out the

your buddy walks into the bar and says, "Hey...order up a round of
beers and bombs." Not that it wasn't fun...but it sure does suck the

Sunday morning, 4-2-06 (posted by Mike at 1:50am - or 2:50 if you've already changed your clock):
Patrick and I agree, this was one of our all time best! Not that we don't think that we're great,
because we do, but what are the chances that a 2-piece acoustic act from Baltimore, who are known
for playing cover tunes would get to open for good ole KC? And who do you guys think our booking agent is?
It's ME!!! And, I'm not even an agent.
Well, even though it was all bogus, Patio and I would like to thank those of you who fell for it.
Mostly because you thought we were worthy of making it to the big time!!!
Once again...APRIL FOOLS!!!
Saturday morning, 4-1-06 (posted by Mike at 1:40am):
Well, Pat and I just finished our show at the Pioneer Pub. We had a great time, but nothing
could compare to what we're gearing up for! Our bags are packed, the tickets are waiting at the airport,
and we're getting ready to zip on over to Oklahoma City. Wish us luck! We're gonna need it. We've played to
a couple hundred people before, but never a sold out arena. The butterflies are already starting to flutter.
Anyway, I've got a chicken parm sub that's getting cold...we'll let you know how the show went!!!
APRIL FOOLS!!!

Rod and I would like to thank Bill & Nancy, Buddy & Deb, Wayne & Linda and Paul & Toni (with an I)
for coming out to The Hazelwood Inn and hanging out with us last night.
We were a little scared when we walked in only to find about 15 people there! But once the
"Leadbetter Bus" showed up, all was well...or was it swell? Or was it groovey?
Or was it right on? Or was it awesome, knarley or bitchen? Perhaps it was the bomb.
No matter what era you are from...you guys are the shit!
Check out the Pictures Page

Oh yeah...HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL!!!

Woulda...shoulda...coulda...
I would have taken the camera if I didn't have to leave to coach lacrosse at 5:00. I should have taken my
camera to Kelseys because there were loads of hot chicks and one really, really drunk dude there. I could have
asked my 7 ½ month pregnant wife to bring me my camera. But I didn't! So, I'm sure by now you have all
been to Kelsey's at one time or another. You're just going to have to use your imagination, and just picture
all the hot chicks that there last night. And as for the drunk dude...Happy Birthday Foley...not that you'll
remember...but then again I'm pretty sure you yacked on your way home...that will help!

How many of you drank your body weight in beer? How many of you did shots until you don't remember
taking off all of your clothes and dancing to Brown Eyed Girl? How many of you don't remember painting
unmentionable body parts green and...wait never mind...that one was mine! Anyway we hope everyone made
it home safely and all that crap...

You know it's funny how things work out. I was out at Guitar Center yesterday morning to pick
up a new Truss System to DJ a wedding reception the following afternoon. And, as luck would have it
I ran into an old buddy of ours, the one and only, Paul Wunder (of Wunder-ama). He was looking
into purchasing the Bose system that Patrick bought a while back. Now, being a drummer, I was not at
all impressed with it. Mostly because there are only 2 mic inputs, which means the congas are not in the mix.
Granted, the Bose is for smaller more intimate rooms in which the drums probably don't need to be mic'ed anyway,
but that's just the way I am. Anyway, Mr. Wunder asked me how I liked it...I told him I didn't...and Paul
being who he is...he tried to convince me otherwise. I told him, "Dude, if you like it, by all means, get it!"
So he did.
Which brings you up to last night. As I'm telling Patrick about my little episode with Paul, while we were
setting up, Patio gets a very concerned look on his face. I was just about finished when I noticed that he
was spending an awful lot of time down in the corner screwing with the unit. He stands up and says, "I don't
have any freakin' power!" To make a long story even longer, we messed around with this thing for close to an
hour, changing fuses, tring out different outlets throughout the bar, cussing at it, hitting it with
screwdrivers, shaking the hell out of it etc. Then, all of a sudden, some time around 10:05, all the
lights come on, and we've got power!!!
And the moral of our story...don't "F" with a good thing...stick to the good ole PA!
I hope you read this Paul!!!

WOW...it's finished before it got started...AGAIN!!! This time Whispers pulled the plug on us.
Once again we lost a gig before we played our first show. After giving it some thought, the
"lounge lizards" over at Whispers thought that the Elvis loving fans of Glen Burnie
wouldn't be interested in seeing a "Grunge" band, so here we go again. Dan, Mike and Pat are looking
for a place to kick it...OLD SCHOOL!

WOW...it's finished before it got started! The DOCKS that is. The owners of The DOCKS have decided
to sell the bar. At least they were nice enough to tell us though! So, Patrick and I are looking for
a new bar for Sunday nights. Got any ideas?

Yes it's true. I had hand surgery last Monday but all is well. And that
whole...opposable thumb thing...that's no joke! I feel like a freakin'
ape over here. Not really. Anyway, I'm back to work on Wednesday...Thursday...
Friday...twice on Saturday...and I don't get my stitches out until Friday afternoon.
Have you ever seen a one-handed drummer? Oh sure Def Leppard's dude did it first...but
he had foot pedals!

With the 2005/2006 Football Season rapidly coming to an end, most of you are probably looking for
something to fill that void on Sundays, right? Well, we've got The SOLUTION! Or, you've got The SOLUTION.
Either way, you can catch Pat and I at Mariner's Landing (soon to be The DOCKS) on Sunday nights starting
immediately following the Superbowl
(of course we're not supposed to use that term for legal reasons...but screw 'em I always say).
You can catch us each week from 7:00-11:00 playing all of your favorite acoustic tunes, and who knows,
we may even have a few guest performers from time to time!

I'm sure you've noticed in the past that as soon as Bob Turk, Brick Tamlan, Marty Bass, Norm Lewis,
or whichever local meteorologist you tune into at 6:00pm, mentions the word "SNOW" everyone
freaks out, runs to their nearest grocery store and stocks up on milk, bread, eggs and toilet paper. Well,
I just happen to be one of those people who just happen to run out of these items every time my sweet Brick
just happens to mention that dreaded four-letter word. I stopped into the Food Lion this morning to grab a
half-gallon of milk, to dunk my Oreos into, and a loaf of bread for my PB & J sandwich later this afternoon,
and they were out of both!!! This is mutiny...or something...anyway...oh well...when in Rome...I just thought
I would share my thoughts with you.
I've got to get back to sculpting my guns.

Dang. Michael's pretty upset. Did you read his posting on 11/30/05? We should all, like, chip
in and get him a new tree stand or something.
Thursday, 11-30-05 (posted by Mike):
OK...this has absolutely nothing to do with live music, but I just needed to vent a little.
You see, I've been a hunter for a little over 10 years now. And, I've always been in a hunting
club where we had permanent stands, and could use ATV's and we always shot deer!
However, when The SOLUTION Entertainment took over my life, I dropped out of my club. So, MC Kyle E,
Uncle Earl and I loaded up our gear and went to hunt public land this year. To no surprise of mine, it
was a total disaster!!! The first morning we went into the woods, everything seemed OK until the sun
came up, then it looked as though I was sitting in the middle of a pumpkin patch. There were orange vests
everywhere. No, problem I thought. I simply moved my stand to another spot overlooking a section of pines,
which backed up to a cornfield. I thought I would have a good chance of popping a deer heading out to the
field for an early dinner. However, there was some asshole there who must have been trying out for the
east coast Stomp Tour! This guy was banging more than I do at one of our shows! So, I figured, if I
hunt the same spot in the morning, perhaps I could get a shot off at a deer returning from a late breakfast.
That's when all hell broke loose...some spineless SOB stole my freakin' tree stand!!! Now if I had my
old tree stand I wouldn't be nearly as pissed off as I am. You see I just bought a new stand
about a year ago. And it wasn't a cheap little $100 job like my first one...oh no...I had to get the
biggest, best, most expensive one Bass Pro Shop carried...so this spineless SOB walked off with a
$270 trophy!!! And, just to F--k with me a little more...as he walked out of the woods with my gear...he
dropped all three of my bungee cords on the ground, as if to say, "ha ha...look what I got..."
Needless to say...we drank more than our fair share of Coors Light for the remainder of the week.
No pictures either...we had dead batteries and no charger! Sorry.

Well, the photos are downloaded... the bags are packed... the liquor is chilled... the

like to thank Debbie, Buddy, Wayne, Linda, Beth and Mini-Miss for hanging out and buying
all those shots, Jager-Bombs, beers, and whatever else we consumed and don't remember!

Mike from The Terrace on the Green (and his entire fan club)
Doc from The Judge's Bench (and his whole dart league)
Jen and her birthday entourage
and last but certainly not least, that cute little blonde from Kelsey's who swears she's not stalking me!
We had a great time and look forward to next year's Thursday Night Acoustic Jams! See you guys around town...

Rod & Mike at The Still or me at Leadbetters on
11/2, Mike & I at Whispers on 11/3 and then again at Reckless Ric's
on 11/4. It simply doesn't get much better than this. Do you think you've
seen us drunk? You ain't seen nothin' yet. Mike and I are

days of insanity!

First of all, let me apologize for last night. Perhaps it was the rain that
was keeping the vibe down, or it was the fact that we got cancelled on
Thursday. I’m not sure exactly what it was. But, I’ll be the first to
admit the show started off a little slow. Then...Jake showed up...
Let me just say...the Jager-bombs were flowing!
You know what...before I get Patio in any more trouble than he's already
in...just...check out the Pictures Page
for some of the gruesome details.
By the way- thanks to all who came out: Mandy, Michelle, Marc, Melba, Nicki,

What can we say about last night? It was our usual Thursday night madness...you
know...hot chicks...cold beer...great music...your run-of-the-mill Thursday night
acoustic show with The SOLUTION. But then as we were packing up, things got
CRAAAAAZY! One of the little "Hoochie Mamas" was walking
back to her car, and some dude ran her over!!! This guy literally ran her
over...and then slammed his little-penis-car into the curb! Of
course "Hoochie" was so wasted she kinda rolled around on the ground
searching for her drink and then got up laughing. Which in turn lead to a
drunken testosterone exibit. At which time Pat leans over and says to
me, “What is it with guys and alcohol...why does everyone who gets drunk
want to fight...the last thing I want to do after a night of drinking is
fight! I’d rather sit down and…well…drink some more." Unfortunately,
coming from Dundalk I really can't answer that...but
to make a long story short, our boy Mark got everyone to their cars and outta
there before anyone got locked up. I'm sure "Hoochie" is feeling it today!!!

Rod and I closed out Nick's season last night out on the deck. Things started out a
little slow. We thought that maybe because it was a little chilly, or too many people had
their kids at football practice or soccer practice, or that there was a great re-run of Everybody
Loves Raymond on UPN 24 or something. But then Patio showed up and things started to get
out of hand. Not that he was even doing anything other than sucking down a few Killian's.
Perhaps it was just his presence that made the crowd from Verizon start acting crazy!

lots of beers...boobs and shots...so, last night we played together and I just want to confirm the rumors!!! There were lots of beers...even more boobs...and as for the shots...all I can say is..."OOOOOOHHHHHH my aching head!!!"

How are the waves, Michael? I hope they suck.
How am I doing? Oh, I'm glad you asked! I just got finished changing my first bloody cotton
gauze, and now I'm watching the O's game while I wait patiently for the numbing effect to wear down
so I can pop my first pain pill. Yes, it is difficult being a rock star.
Tuesday, 08-30-05 (posted by Mike):
You see, everyone thinks that being a 'rock star' is all wine, women & song. It's more like
beer, the ole lady & well at least the song part is right. But that's not where I was going
with this. Yes it's true, yesterday was awesome. I dropped Mikey at school, dropped my
truck off to get an oil change, went to the gym for about an hour, picked my truck up, went
home and had breakfast, fell asleep on the couch watching I, Robot, got up to get in the pool,
dosed off for a little while, got up and had lunch, went to pick the Mikey up, went to soccer
practice, came home and had dinner and eventually fell asleep watching Rome on HBO2. But, it
seems as though The SOLUTION Entertainment also doubles as The SOLUTION Moving Service! Have
you ever answered the phone and had someone say, 'hey, what are you doing tomorrow?' And for
whatever reason, you just can't come up with a decent excuse to get you out of whatever they
are about to ask you? Welcome to my world!!! So after I got roped into being Mike the mover,
my cousin Jing-a-Ling calls and asks me to go surfing today!!! Ain't life a bitch?!?!?!?
I hope your mouth hurts Patrick!

No one seems to understand how difficult it is to be a true 'rock star', right Mike? While
you're napping in the pool, I'll be entering Round 2 of "Owens vs. Dr. Sindall", live from

missing out! It is a great commercial.
Anyway, the kids are back in school, the streets are empty, the classrooms are full and I get to
actually enjoy some peace and quiet from 8:30 until 3:15 everyday...I may even get to take a nap in the
pool! Isn't life grand?

DAMN that was fun!!! I haven't played like that in a long time!!! Patrick and I would like to thank
Dan for coming out and making "THE UNDERGROUND's" first show a huge success! It's amazing what can
happen when you actually practice...I mean...Patio and I certainly have our shit together...but it's
more of a feeling...I mean...he knows what I'm thinking...and I know what he's thinking...and we go
with it...drunk or not...but once you throw another instrument in the mix everything changes, and
Danny Boy was ripping it up!!!
Who would have ever thought that chicks would actually dance to "Man in a Box," or "State of Love & Trust?"
You would be amazed! THE UNDERGROUND was received with open arms!!! We've still got a lot of work to do,
but keep an eye out for our first official show. You won't want to miss it!!! Dan, Pat and I would like
to thank all of the hotties and even some of the "lukewarmies" for hanging out...dancing...and buying us
shots all night long...we'll see there next month...
I'm sure Patio will have something to add when he sobers up in the morning...as for me...I like to
type after a few bombs...JAGER BOMBS that is!!!

What a week that was! Rod and I played Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
DJ Jazzy Jake made his professional debut at Dellis on Friday and then was at it again
on Saturday at Brannan's. Saturday and Sunday I worked a couple of wedding
receptions with Apollonia while Pat was doing some solo jobs. It was crazy! But now it's Monday and
everyone is back to work. Of course for me, it's Monday and my weekend begins! I know what you're
thinking...that prick is running back to the beach to go surfing, but that's not the case this week.
DJ Mini-Miss has slapped me with a Honey-do list. That's all right though...I'm headed back down in
a couple of weeks!!!

Well...last night was an........experience........
Rod and I played The Holiday House last night, and we weren't quite sure what
to expect. It's a small "corner bar" on Harford Road so we figured we would be playing to some locals
who stopped in after work to grab a bite to eat and maybe a couple of beers. Man were we wrong! The
place was packed, and the girls danced all night long! I broke two sticks, Rod played the whole last
set without his E string and more women molested our maracas and terrorized our tambourines than we
could possibly elaborate on! If we would have had the digital camera, and loaded the pictures,
our site just might be considered pornographic!!! Anyway, we're back there on September 30th,
so stop in and check it out.

Hurricane Irene sent some serious wave to our beloved Ocean City. Some might think
I'm crazy for driving two and a half hours immediately following Friday night's show at Da Bench, but
it's not all that often that we get six to eight foot waves! So, my cousin, Jing-a-Ling,
and I ran down for a weekend of surf, sun and suds!!! Sorry there are no pictures, but I lost our
underwater camera during an inside ass busting I took on Saturday night, that means a close out section
in between the deep water and the shoreline. The bottome line is, there was no way either
of us was going to do battle with the churning white water just to shoot a couple of photos. But, I have
The SOLUTION...just close your eyes and imagine
what Kelly Slater looks like surfing Banzi Pipeline. Now substitue my face...imagine green water instead
of blue...a six-foot wave instead of twelve-footer...do you have it? Great! It would have looked nothing
like that!!! Sorry, I'm just really tired, a little sun-burned, and trying to create a visual. Hopefully
I'll see you at tomorrow's show at the Ram's Head, I'd be happy to tell you all about it.

Pat and I had a great show last night at Kelsey's Pub. It started out a little slow,
but by the end, we were jammin! We would like to thank our new friends for
all the shots, it made for an interesting drive home, and it got even more interesting
when I got there. Nothing beats a two-day old steak, an egg roll from earlier in the
day and fresh home-made brownies! That's right...I raided the Fridge at 3:00a.m.
Anyway, we hope to have a nice crowd tonight at Da Bench. See ya there!!!

What a busy weekend. Patrick and I played a Surprise 50th Birthday Party in Pasadena
from 3:00-7:00 on Saturday, then did 95 up 95 so we could make it up to MacGregor's in
Havre de Grace by 9:00. We made it with 10 whole minutes to spare! We had a blast
too...we played for 2 hours and 37 minutes straight. It was the best crowd we've ever
had there!
Yesterday we had Padonia Park Swim Club scheduled for a 1:00-5:00 show. First we got
cancelled due to bad weather. Then we got another call to reschedule for a Thursday.
Then we got a call to cancell that. Then we got a call to play the show anyway! We
zipped up to Timonium, played the show and had a blast. Later in the evening we met
with Dan and added a few new songs to our growing set list. The new project is coming
along better than expected. Ask us about it at the next show!
Wednesday, 08-03-05 (posted by Mike):
WOW!!!! What in the HELL happened last night? Everything started out OK.
We were jammin...having a few drinks...and then I woke up face down on my deck at 4:30
in my black silk boxers!!! Not that is entirely a bad thing...it's just
that I can't remember anything...was I abducted by aliens? Was taken advantage
of by a group of crazed bikers? Or...was it just another drunken night with
Theresa and the gang at Brannan's?!?!?!? Yeah...maybe that's it. Fortunately
there are no photos for you to check out...lucky us!!!

Vay-Cay was great! We've never been to the Outer Banks before, and let me

City!!! The people there were actually nice to each other...not something
we're used to around here. We don't have any surfing pics, the waves
broke way beyond the reach of our digital camera, but we've got a
few funny shots anyway. Check out the Pictures Link. See ya at the next show!!!

not going to go into it, since it's 2:51 in the morning and we've got an eight hour
drive ahead of us...but trust me when I tell you...it was freakin AWESOME!!! Check the schedule

Last night tunred into drunkfest, as it often does at Brannan's.
You see my friends, Patrick and I played Brannan's Pub for the first time
about a year and a half ago on a rainy Saturday night, which just happend
to be the night before Easter. There were no more than 10 or 15 people
in the bar, but the owners of Brannan's were more concerned with us having
a good time than how much money they were making. And, as most of you know, if you
were to put me, Pat and alocohol together, we could have fun at an insurance seminar.
Anyway, we were playing our set while watching Pulp Fiction on one of the TVs
and while Pat was singing I was reciting the words to the movie. We would finish the
song, Pat would recite a few lines, we would laugh, have a drink of beer and start a
new song. This went on throughout the first set and into the second. Not
that that has any bearing on last night's story, I just thought that was
an interesting fact to throw out there. So, back to the point, I often
have no point, it's part of my charm. So on that rainy Easter Eve we were
doing our thing and at some point during our second set we heard someone order a
Jager-Bomb. Naturally our conversation, over the mics of course, went something
like this:
Pat: Michael, I don't think I've ever had a Jager-Bomb...
Mike: You know Patrick, I don't believe I've ever experienced a Jager-Bomb either...
Pat: I wonder what a Jager-Bomb consists of...
Mike: You know Patio, that's a good question. I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm sure it's going to have something to do with Jagermiester!
Pat: Well duh, I'm no that drunk yet, notice I said yet Michael...
So, before we knew what happened, we had two Jager-Bombs delivered to us. DAMN are those things good!!!!!!!
So, last night Pat and I went into the gig planning on drinking no more than a few beers, having a good show and not starting our week with a huge hangover. It didn't work that way. Before we even started playing our first set we killed a bucket of beers. Then as Pat put it, "It's tradition...we've gotta do at least one Jager-Bomb...come on Michael...don't be a pussy!"
To quote the great Paul Harvey...
"...and now you know, the rest of the story..."
Check out the Pictures Link for snap shots.

What a strange night. I walked into Kelsey's last night around 8:30 to find
only about 6 people in the bar. But boy did that change. It's like the
Leadbetter bus showed up around 9:30. Rod and I played until 11:30 before
our first break...and that was only because he had to pee! I swore I wasn't
going to drink anything...but you know how that goes...first a couple of
Captain and Diets...a shot of
Tuaca...then another shot of Tuaca...then a SoCo and Lime...then another
Tuaca...the next thing I know is I'm sitting in the Double T at 3:30
in the morning asking my boy Blue what the hell happened...not that
he had an answer...anyway, we had a great time and can't wait until

Wow...what a weekend. I guess I should start with Friday night.
Friday night...
I know we had a show Friday because Pat has already posted pictures from that show.
Actually, now that I think about Friday night I remember going to the gig, I remember
setting up for the gig, and I even remember playing at the gig. I guess that's where
it gets a little fuzzy. You see, I don't remember finishing the gig. I don't remember
packing up my gear after the gig. I do know that when I set my gear up for
Saturday night's show it looked like a 5 year old packed up the night before. So, I
guess if you were there and had a good time...cool...thanks for hanging with The
SOLUTION. If you were there and we offended you in any way...well...to put it in the
words of the legendary Patrick Owens..."That's how The SOLUTION rolls!!!"
You might be asking yourself...how about Saturday, what happened on Saturday. I did a
private party during the day which reminded me why I'm no longer in Family
Tradition anymore...not that there's anything wrong with a few country tunes...but 4 hours
worth will drive anyone with Rock & Roll in their heart totally MAD!!! Then I packed up
and headed out to Dellis for a show with RTB. It was cool...the usual Dellis crowd...you
know...drunk...belligerant...drunk...in need of Pantera, Rush, ZZ Top...you know...all
the stuff most acoustic bands are known for.
Patio did the Semi-Annual Brian Davis thing...I'm not really
sure what happened there. Anyway, it looks like we're gonna be in for another wild one
this weekend too! Lots of gigs in a short period of time. Check out the schedule pages
for details...or just wait for Patio's weekly SOLUTION update.

I'm so F****g drunk my fingers keep hitting the wrong keys! Anyway...Pat and I would
like to give a Shout-Out to Mom & Pop Owens, Jeff & Cherri, Lauren and Makala
(see...I can't even spell her name right...) our buddy in blue who kept buying
all those damn Jager-Bombs, and everyone else I'm too drunk to remember! We had a great
time...I think...and can't wait until we're back...you'll have to check the schedule
page...I'm too wasted to do it for you this time!!! Anyway...thanks for coming out...if
you did...if not...see ya next time...blah, blah, blah...I'm going to bed! After a
chili and cheese hot dog from 7-11...that's right...I'm going back out!!! Later
folks...blah, blah, blah...yatta yatta yatta...see ya...

Mike and I walked into the Judge's Bench expecting the worst
last night... but we were wrong! Thanks to Mandy, Jeff, Cherri,
Laura*, Jessica* and everyone else who stuck around last night. Special
thanks goes to Jeff Guys for singing the majority of the final set...
I needed a lift! The evening was "cheesy", but it was still fun.

All I can say is DAMN!!! It's amazing how different a joint can be from one night to the next.
Pat and I played the Bull on the Beach on Thursday...it was cool and all...Marc and Melba came
out and we had a good time...but DAMN!!! Last night was SLAMMIN!!! I haven't seen the place
that crowded since St. Patty's Day. And that doesn't really even count because I don't remember
much (Marc you know what I'm talking about). Anyway, Rod and I rocked the Bull last
night. We DJed a little...we played a little...we DJed some more...we played a little more
and then DJ Rodman took over and all hell broke loose! Those sexy little Bel Air honeys Shook
Me All Night LONG!!! Check out the Pictures Link for some of he action.

Rod and I had a kick-ass time at The Station last night. The Tuaca was
flowing like a cool crisp mountain waterfall in early spring (wow...that was poetic).
And, the ladies of Havre de Grace were out in full force! Check out the pictures link when you get a chance.
Friday, 05-27-05 (posted by Mike):
Rod and I had a blast at the Bull last night...unfortunately it
was one of those nights that you just can't remember who you
talked to. You know, you wake up in the morning and ask yourself,
how did I get home last night...why am I waking up on top of the
stove...why am I wearing silk boxers, a visor and bunny slippers...you
look at the plate of "food" still sitting on the countertop
and think...WOW...I really ate that
last night at 4:30?!?!? Anyway, judging by the snap-shots from last
night, we had a good time...check em out!
Monday, 05-23-05 (posted by Mike):
Rod and I had a busy weekend, while Patio enjoyed the good life
consuming mass quantities of Jack Daniels and light beer. Friday
night at MacGregor's we played to the largest crowd they've ever
seen! In fact, we were so busy, I think I only took one picture...
Saturday night at Dellis was cool as usual, and just like the last 2 or
3 shows, we remained sober (I know doesn't that just sound funny?)
until around 12:15 or so when everyone starts sticking shots of Tuaca in our faces!
And, naturally, hand us a shot...we're gonna shoot it! Kenny Z even stopped in
after DJing Brian and Kate Pansini's wedding reception at the Maryvale Castle.
And in case you're wondering....yes...we
did a couple of shots together as well! Check out the Picture's Link on the DJ
Page for some of the action.
We apologize this posting is several days late, but "head-high waves" in Ocean City don't come all that often, and I've been itching for a new board, which I purchased and rode for 6 or 7 hours on Sunday!
Friday, 05-20-05 (posted by Mike):
Rod and I had a great time at The Stil last night! There were people dancing all night
long. I'd like to thank the grads from Loyola for the car bomb too. Check out the

last night. And as always, thanks to the crew at Leadbetters-
Kevin behind the bar, Mandy, Melba, Marc, Nicki, Jeff, Cherri, and everyone else
who stopped by for the festivities. Hope you guys had a good time! Pictures from the
show will be available on www.owensmusic.com

say thanks to Laura, Mandy, Marc, Melba, Nikki, Tommy, the Cash Register Crew, the

name weird!" Check out the pictures link for some of the snap shots.

WOW...That was a long day! DJ Blue, that's me, DJed the ESP Viper
Lacrosse Parent Appreciation Day from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. And
let me tell you, it was a looooonnnnnnggggg day! Not only because
the first 5 teams lost, but because my tired ass isn't used to getting up
after 3 hours of sleep anymore...I need at least 4! Anyway, now it's time
to get a shower and head out to the Green Turtle-Laurel for an acoustic
show with Patio. Not that I'll be able to sing after screaming at my
team all afternoon. Oh well, I hope to see ya there!!!
Friday, 05-06-05 (posted by Pat):
Thanks to Marlene, Lisa, Megan, Brooke and the random members
of the Turf Valley club for stopping by last night. It looked like
you guys had a good time... and a little too much Corona... but
you've gotta do what you've gotta do. We had a great time at
Kelsey's last night, we'll see you back there soon!

Wow. Mike has done some major research.
Did you read the news message that Mike posted for Cinco De Mayo?
If not, then you need to do that now before you continue...
Look down at the message below the one you're reading...
Okay. I wanna say thanks to Jeff, Cherri, Sabrina, Katy, Julie, Joe, Becky and her
crew, and everyone else who hung out at Leadbetters last night. I had a great
time, and hope to see you guys again real soon. I don't have any pictures...
unless Joe pulls through. Come on Joe, send 'em over!

The 5th of May is not Mexican Independence Day, but it should be!
And Cinco de Mayo is not an American holiday, but it should be.
Mexico declared its independence from mother Spain on midnight,
the 15th of September, 1810. And it took 11 years before the
first Spanish soldiers were told and forced to leave Mexico.
So, why Cinco de Mayo? And why should Americans savor this day
as well? Because 4,000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and
traitor Mexican army of 8,000 at Puebla, Mexico, 100 miles east
of Mexico City on the morning of May 5, 1862.
This is why we get all hyped up every year on the fifth of
May...it's all about getting smashed...just like the French
and those traitor Mexicans!!! So why not join Mike and Pat
at Kelsey's tonight so we can all get SMASHED!!!

Sorry guys...I lost a day due to the "Surf Bug"
that's going around. When it gets you, all you can do
is head for the beach! Anyway, it looks as though Patrick
picked up my slack and posted more than a few pictures
from Sunday's Band Showcase. I threw a few more on
there of the other bands as well as a couple of the "Behind
the Scene" shots. Take a look when you get a chance!
Peace Out...I've gotta get back to thawing out from yesterdays

We've definitely gotta take our hats off to everyone who
showed up at Whispers for the band showcase yesterday.
You guys (and you know who you are) made the day a huge
success for us! It's good to know that we can count on our
friends for support, and you all proved it! Mike and I
hope you had a good time (because we did), and we'll see ya
soon. Enjoy the t-shirts! They make good spare rags
for changing your oil or cleaning up Kool Aid spills...
Additionally, thanks to those of you who came to the Horse
Sunday night. Check out the pics on our link - and for more

Rod and I would like to thank the lovely Amy and her gang
for hanging out with us at the Bull on the Beach last night.
It's always a good time in Bel Air, but you guys definitely
made it a blast! And don't worry...you'll get to see me
drunk and obnoxious soon enough...I had to be up to check
the lacrosse field and then call 20 parents to tell them
the game was off at 7:00 a.m. But tonight is another
story!!! See ya at Dellis...

anything interesting...so...thanks for coming out!
I'm going back to bed!!!

Tuesday...we'll be at Brannan's Pub at 6:30...meet us
there for some Jager-bombs!

like to give a "Shout-Out" to RTB...he was there for a brief minute,
and then had to roll! The Pictures Link will be updated later today...

Well, Rod and I got double booked at The Stil...so I slipped into my DJ Blue
Super-Suit and headed out to the Fish Head Cantina for what they're calling "Rock-N-Roll
Karaoke!" It was cool, plenty of hot chicks, a few Harley Honeys, a $5.00
bottomless cup for the guys and gals, and the best thing of all...The
SOLUTION Entertainment!!! This will become DJ Steve's regular Thursday Night Show,
so help him feel the love by cruising on over to the Fish Head one week. You won't
be sorry! Tell him Mike sent you and I'm sure he'll buy you a shot.

I did).

Much to our surprise, we played to a packed house last night. And, as luck
would have it, no digital cameras! So, we would like
to give a quick "Shout-out" to Kirsten, Sarah and Angie, the lovely
and talented Beth on Sax, our old friends Tim and Andy, Kristen and Melessa,
the new night manager Vicki, and anyone else we were too drunk to remember!
We had a great time and look forward to rocking the deck the next time we're

We've got some information about a band showcase we are playing.
It will be the first-ever GoClubin.net
Band Showcase. Patrick and I had a meeting yesterday with the creators of GoClubin.net and have some
useful information. We will be one of six bands to perform on Sunday
May 1st. The show will be held at Whispers in Glen Burnie. The doors
open at 2:00. There will be a $5.00 cover charge. They will have $1.00
drafts, $1.50 domestic bottles, $2.50 rail drinks and for $5.00 they
will have a buffet! That's a pretty good deal. We will post additional
information, such as the other bands as well as start times, as soon as we know more.
Sunday, 04-10-05 (posted by Mike):
Wouldn't you know it...I leave the camera home and
we have an awesome show! Well, perhaps I can create
a visual for you...let's start by thinking of a
gorgeous 22 year old blonde with an ass like a......well......
let's just say on a scale form 1 - 10...she was an 11!
Then dress this young lady in a pair of black, skin-tight
pants and an extremely loooooow cut shirt. Then, imagine
she’s giving away free shots of Tuaca…sounds nice huh…now
imagine that you’re not imagining things! Oh well, you
could have been there with Rod and I, but instead you
decided to stay home and watch CSI Glen Burnie or
something…believe me when I tell you…you missed out!!!
You know what's funny, that was just the beginning.
We would like to say Happy 21st Birthday to Kitty. And
then there were the 10 middle aged Mardi Gras-ers
(thanks for the beads by the way), the
older black gentleman who wore the blue silk
suit and matching visor, April(whose mini-skirt
redefined the term mini-skirt), her boyfriend who
suffered from "LITTLE MAN SYNDROME", the
girl who looked like a Barbie doll (she had a
thing for drummers...aahhhh), Brandi for making
27 requests, Butch for breaking up the fight between
blue silk suit guy and LITTLE MAN and last but certainly
not least, the table of MILF's that sat right up front
who clapped, whistled, winked and woooed after every song!
I guess you'll have to try your luck when we go back to Edgewater on May 14th...see ya there...

Sarah, Jenny, Greg, Jodi, Sue, John, Al, Sharon,
Brad & Brian from the Bench, and anybody else I forgot.
Sorry the directions were wrong, but no worries -

I'd like to say thanks to Paul, Matt and
the guys from

didn't miss much! Not that it wasn't a great show...we just didn't
play all that long. April Madness prevailed! Or is that
March Madness...I don't know basketball...
Not to worry though, we'll be at the Green Turtle in Edgewater
next Saturday and back at Laurel on Saturday May 7th.

You've gotta love that Bel Air crowd!
Rod and I had a great night at Bull on the Beach. The ladies
were out in full force! I will admit, it was a slow start,
but once they got their buzz on, they danced those tight
little asses off!!! If you haven't been to the Bull, you
just don't know what you're missing. Tonight it's all about
Canton...you can catch Rod and I at Cardwell's Tavern, it's
ALWAYS a good time at Cardwell's, or check out DJ Mini-Miss'
Friday Night Karaoke Jam at Phinns. Both promise to be a blast,

Happy Birthday to ME!!!
After all the beer, hugs & kisses, shots, smart-ass cards, wacky
T-shirts and the other things I received this past weekend, my
birthday is finally here! Thirty three years ago I popped out
and much to my mother's suprise, I had a drum stick in my hand.
I'd like to thank everyone who came out over the last 4 days. That
had to be the longest weekend of gigging since St. Patty's Day 03.
Pat and I are off until Saturday. So join us at The
Green Turtle in Laurel! Stay classy SOLUTION fans!!!

Wow! Day three of my Week-long Birthday Extravaganza
was ridiculous!!!
It started off ok...but then my boy blue informed everyone that
it was my birthday...it was all downhill from there! In fact,
it wasn't until Kyle, Jake and Andy showed up did things get
really out of hand. You SOB's!!! I think it was the car-bombs
that really did the trick. It wasn't even the first one that
did it...it wasn't even the second one that did it...it may
have been the third...I'm sure it was the fourth...or was it
the fifth? Who knows...wait...maybe it was the 4 Tuaca shots...
or was it the Sambuca? Wow...I can't even remember...and I'm
only gonna be 33! Anyway...join Pat and I for a the fourth
and final birthday celebration tonight at Knotty Pine.

Wow! Day two of our Week-long Birthday Extravaganza
was NUTS!!!
We started playing at 9:00, and everything that
happened after 10:30 is still a little fuzzy...
We played loud. We played long. There were lots of beers.
There were lots of boobs. There were lots of shots. There
were lots of hugs. There were lots of kisses (SSSSHHHH...
don't tell Melissa...) Anyway, if you weren't there you
missed a great show. Everyone except Rod that is...judging
by the call I received at 3:00a.m. I think he had the BEST time out of all of us...
"it's 3:00 a.m. and I must be lonely..." NOT!!!

.......the morning after.......
What can I say about this year's St. Patrick's Day Celebration? It started out
great! Rod and I started the day off at the Ram's Head Roadhouse. There was
a great crowd and everyone was singing and dancing! Then I packed up my gear
and headed to Bel Air for a show at the Bull on the Beach. Again, everything
started out great. I do however think that Patio and I had a little more energy
than what they were expecting! You've got to realize, we've played in Canton
for the last several years. Anyway, the first set was cool, the second set was
cooler and all I can tell you about the third set is that we played one...check
out the pictures link for some of the gruesome details!
Oh yeah...one more thing...in case you were wondering...we had a $150 bar tab!!!
That should clear up what I've been trying to explain!
And as for the party after...what happens in Bel Air...STAYS in Bel Air!!!
Monday, 03-14-05 (posted by Mike):
